My own personal story is a little messy, but isn’t everyone’s? At times it didn’t look like my story would have a sunny outcome!
With my faith and trust in God and disciplined hard work, I was able to purchase my first salon at 25 years of age. I built great, deep meaningful relationships with my guests while being creative and doing what I was really good at and had passion for.
I love my business because it means I get to empower women and men look great and feel good about themselves. This gives them confidence to go out and meet their day knowing that their hair is healthy, shiny and cut to perfection for easy manageability.
It has always been a great interest of mine to use and recommend nontoxic products for my guests to experience and duplicate their look at home with vegan, organic hair care products.
Amelioration Salon is one that is safe from toxic products. Essential oils are nature’s medicine. Please allow me to care for any scalp and hair concerns you may have.
Before making an appointment with me, may I suggest you treat yourself to my “Get to know you package.” This appointment will be an hour and a half. You will be required to fill out a questioner where we discuss any and all issues you may have and decide what cut, style and color treatment you desire. This service includes therapeutic shampoo, conditioning treatment with scalp and neck message and a hand and arm message. This is a first time FREE appointment valued at $150.00
As you will find I wear many hats. I love bike riding, cooking, talking nutrition, healthy living and I am a Christian Bible study teacher. I love art, crafting and enjoy making Junk Journals.

Life is short, choose Joy. People are super important, make sure you have good people around you. You have one life, live it with purpose and for eternity. Without your health nothing else matters. Make time to rest and play. It is just as important as work. Do for others, you may be a difference maker in their life. Your past gave you a gift of who you are but it doesn’t determine where you are going. There is always a solution and you have options. God has a plan and a purpose for your life.
